Yeah, 50yrs' Later!
The unheard ofs...Jamul
I wanna show you pretty mama you've been smoking Babylon with a rambling man
So does anybody know what happened to these guys?
cool texas blues
1969-1970, I was a bar tender in National city ,Cal. at Harolds club and the Pleasure club where Jamul played every weekend. These guys brought the house down. one hell of a high energy band
I love this album. Out of all the down & dirty Rock n Roll blasts on it, this might be my favorite.
These guys sound like they were straight out of Texas and kicked serious ass. Nasty, nasty sound, I love this whole album...
What a band..what a track.
They were a great band. I saw them twice. I used to have this album but lent it to the wrong friend. Never saw it again. Can you post Sunrise Over Jamul?
I grew up near Jamul, by Mt. Miguel.
I don´t remember very well but wasn´t it called "Sunshine over Jamul?" Yes they were called jamul city funk band....
I'm from San Diego, and still have the vinyl- My favourite cut is "Moving to the Country"It could be played on the radio today, ( and it should) It's that good- ( Better than some of the tripe they are trying to pass off as music these days)
I actually saw them play at American University in DC around 1968 or 69. Always wondered what happened as I love the name and where they were from.
Great!
