Review by Richard J. Barbalace

Zum Kult Film, the latest album by These New Puritans, is a captivating and experimental record that takes the listener on a journey through a range of musical styles and moods. The band has always been known for their innovative approach to music, and this album is no exception.

The album opens with the eerie and atmospheric track "Infinity Vibraphones," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. From there, the band explores a variety of sounds and textures, from the driving post-punk of "Fragment Two" to the dreamy, ethereal "Organ Eternal."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "V (Island Song)," which features haunting vocals and a pulsing beat that builds to a crescendo. The lyrics are cryptic and mysterious, adding to the overall sense of unease and tension that permeates the album.
